The Cliff Heights Hotel suits guests who want a proper apartment on the West Cliff, with the beach and Westbourne both within a comfortable walk. It is a fully refurbished building on West Cliff Gardens, and it keeps things simple: two kinds of apartment, both with a full kitchen.
Who it suits
Couples and solo travellers tend to choose the one-bedroom apartments, which each come with a private garden, a good option in summer for eating outside. Families and colleagues sharing go for the two-bedroom apartments, which have a balcony and a wide view of the sea; guests who booked a view describe it on the sea-view reviews page. Natali, who worked in the office, was so helpful, and quickly and thoroughly responded to all of our questions and requests. We were there for a month and they provided a mid-stay cleaning, which was unexpected and much appreciated. The location was great for us - just a quick walk to the beach, the bus stop, a small grocery store, and lots of restaurants, and we could easily walk to the city center which had a great open pedestrian space, stores, and restaurants. We were underwhelmed by the gym, which was very small, but nice to have, even so. We would stay there again.
