Flexie Perks are discounts at local businesses in Bournemouth that come with every Flexiestays booking. Cafés, delis, activities and other partners each set their own offer, and you use it with them during your stay. There is nothing to buy or sign up for: the partners and their codes are listed at flexiestays.com/perks.
This guide covers how the perks work, how they differ from the booking discount, and how to get the most from them on a short break or a longer stay.
How Flexie Perks work
Each partner business decides its own perk, so the offers vary from a café to a deli to an activity. The perks page lists every current partner with its offer and the code or instruction to use it.
You do not redeem a perk on flexiestays.com. You show or quote the code at the partner, in the café or at the booking desk, the same way you would use any local voucher. The terms of each perk are the partner’s, so if something is unclear, the partner is the one to ask.
Because the list is managed as partners join and leave, the best time to look is a few days before you travel, when you are planning where to eat and what to do.
Perks and the booking discount are separate
It is easy to confuse the two, so here is the difference:
- The discount code takes money off the price of your stay. The current code is shown in the banner at the top of flexiestays.com, and you enter it at checkout.
- Flexie Perks take money off things you do during your stay. They are used with the partner, not at the Flexiestays checkout.
One does not replace the other. The discount code lowers what you pay for the apartment; the perks lower what you spend once you are in Bournemouth. Both are part of what a direct booking includes, set out in why book direct with Flexiestays.
Making them part of the plan
The apartments sit on the West Cliff and around St Michael’s Road, so most of what the perks cover is within walking distance. Guests mention the choice on the doorstep again and again:
“Having so many restaurants nearby made our stay even better.” (Ajay, Trustpilot)
“Very clean, spacious, an immaculate bathroom, and a great location near the coast with lovely restaurants within a 15-minute walk.” (Gordon, Booking.com)
A simple way to use the perks is to check the list against a rough plan for each day:
- Breakfast and coffee. Apartments have a kitchen, so breakfast is not included, and several good cafés are close by. Some are perks partners.
- A day on the beach. West Cliff Beach is below the cliff, reached by the zig-zag paths or the West Cliff Lift. Look for partners near the seafront and the pier.
- Westbourne. The village of independent cafés, delis and boutiques is about ten minutes on foot west of most buildings.
- A wet afternoon. The Oceanarium by the pier and the Russell-Cotes Museum on the East Cliff are the usual plans when the weather turns.

Perks on a longer stay
Perks are worth more the longer you stay. On a month in Bournemouth you eat out, buy coffee and book activities many times over, and a regular discount at the café round the corner adds up. If you are staying for work or while you move house, the perks page is worth a look in your first week, the same way you would find the nearest supermarket. The long stays guides cover the rest of a monthly stay.
Families and groups
For families, the perks page is a useful starting point for rainy-day plans and treats. Check whether an activity’s perk applies per person or per booking before you go, since each partner sets its own terms. Our guide to Bournemouth with children suggests how to plan a family stay around the buildings.
What guests say about the area
Perks work because the location does. Reviews on this site mention the walk to the sand and the town more than almost anything else:
“We also really enjoyed having access to the gym, and the location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk from the sandy beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful Bournemouth coastline.” (Ibrahim, Trustpilot)

More reviewsWe had a great stay here with Jon and Flexistays. Jon was super responsive and helpful. The apartment was clean, the only problem was the rug was very hairy, but when we told Jon about this, he and the team immediately responded and cleaned. They provided washing machine tablets on request as well. Very good value for money, good location for the sea front, with some really nice restaurants and a small Nisa just down the road. Would definitely consider staying again.
Highly recommended
Highly recommended, will stay again! I recently stayed here and was very impressed - the room was spotlessly clean and nicely presented. Toiletries were provided, which was a nice touch. The room had a fan, fridge and kettle, which made such a difference in this hot weather! It always smelled lovely too. Gym available. The staff were helpful and just a phone call away whenever I needed anything. Great value and I'd definitely come back to this hotel.
